Rheumatoid Arthritis is a chronic autoimmune disorder that typically affects the
synovial joints of the body, particularly in hands and feet. This creates wear and
tear of fluid between the joints, causing painful swelling, bone erosion, and joint
deformity. As an inflammatory disease, it can sometimes affect other organs of the
body including but not limited to the skin, eyes, lungs and blood vessels
Rheumatoid Arthritis is progressive and most commonly begins to occur after age
40, much more commonly in women than men. Our facility offers both systemic
and localized treatment including Remicade, Cimzia, and Orencia.
